Triangle United coach Thulani “Thuts” Sibanda believes Dynamos are a good side despite criticism from a section of the club’s faithful who are not happy with their team’s inconsistency recently.

Sibanda said that DeMbare is “a very good and perfect side” after his Triangle side had frustrated them to a goalless draw at National Sports Stadium on 6 May.

“They (Dynamos) dominated first half. We were struggling, they could build up and they could play between the lines. I think they are a very good side, they are a perfect side,” Sibanda told the media.

In the seven matches that they have played at the moment, Dynamos have won three drew three and lost one.

They are fourth on the log standings with 12 points and also have a game in hand versus all-time rivals and log leaders Highlanders.

Dynamos have been inconsistent despite having registered 1-0 and 4-0 victories in the first two games against Hwange and Sheasham respectively.

After collecting six points in their first two games, wins began to elude the Glamour Boys.

They went for 270 minutes without tasting victory, playing two goalless draws against Simba Bhora and Cranborne Bullets before losing to Bulawayo Chiefs at home.

The club’s faithful began to question the competence of head coach Herbert Maruwa with some calling for his sacking after the defeat to Chiefs.

Nonetheless, the storm was calmed in Week 7 when the 20-time champions claimed the bragging rights over city rivals Caps United with a 2-0 victory.

But Sunday’s 0-0 stalemate with Sugar Sugar Boys still leaves Maruwa under scrutiny.
