Former Highlanders players Nqobizitha Masuku and Daniel Msendami are now guaranteed of playing CAF Champions League football next season with their Botswana outfit Jwaneng Galaxy.
It comes after Masuku and Msendami won their first title in Botswana’s top flight league when Galaxy defeated Holy Ghost 2-0 to clinch the championship trophy on Wednesday .
Both Masuku and Msendami started the match against Ghost which won Galaxy a title with one game to spare before the curtain falls on the 2022/23 Botswana Premier league campaign.
Attacking midfielder, Msendami joined Galaxy on loan from Highlanders in August 2022 and signed his permanent deal with the club in January 2023.
His fellow countrymen and teammate, Masuku arrived at Galaxy in the middle of January in 2023 on a one-and a half-year deal from the Bulawayo giants.
