He might have won his first of the two match ultimatum he was reportedly given by his bosses, but Dynamos coach Herbert Maruwa still has an unfinished job.

He is 90 minutes away from either saving his job or losing it, six months after he assumed the Dynamos coaching job.

He replaced Tonderayi Ndiraya who got sacked in December after leading Dynamos to the third place in the title race, behind Champions FC Platinum and runners up Chicken Inn.

Last week, the club’s executive tasked Maruwa to record two wins on the trot against ZPC Kariba and Black Rhinos and failure to do so, he will be sacked.

Heeding to the hieracrhy’s demands, the youthful coach responded with a resounding 3-0 win over struggling ZPC Kariba at National Sports Stadium.

Elton Chikona’s strike on his full debut and Donald Mudadi’s brace were enough to secure a win for the Glamour Boys who had gone for five games without tasting victory.

The sweet victory was a sigh of relief for the under pressure Maruwa who is steering the ship of the most successful club in the land with 20 league titles.

But that was just for a moment since he is supposed to win again Saturday against his former paymasters, Rhinos.

DeMbare are sixth on the log standings with 18 points after twelve matches.

They are five points behind log leaders Ngezi Platinum Stars who returned to the summit of the table with a 1-0 win over an exciting Yadah FC on Tuesday.
