Dynamos could have taken the lead on 45 minutes having been awarded a penalty but Dzvinyai’s hard struck kick skied over the bar.
His miss will put pressure on Coach Herbert Maruwa who just two months ago was facing the chop.
As Dynamos fell, Bulawayo Chiefs forward Obriel Chirinda scored, albeit in a losing cause.
Chiefs fell 2-1 to Herantals at Luveve Stadium in a match Coach Joseph Sibindi blamed players’ inability to maintain a lead.
“We had a first ten minutes but after scoring our goal we thought we had won and relaxed,” said Sibindi after the match.
“We tried in the second half but everything fell apart after they scored their second goal.
“I think it’s an inability to control things when we are leading. I hope we improve in the coming games.”
2022 Castle Lager Premiership top scorer William Manondo scored for Caps United in their 1-1 draw versus Triangle.
Ngezi Platinum clawed their way back in the fight for PSL glory, winning 1-0 courtesy of Valentine Kadonzvo.
Ngezi are now a point from the top with hope unbeaten Highlanders fail to beat third placed Manica Diamonds at BF on Sunday.
