Harare based football institution City Football Academy has tapped into Midlands province’s talent after roping in players from Kwekwe and Gweru.

Seven youngsters including six in field players and one goalkeeper have been added in City Football Academy books.

The seven were added in the academy books recently with their coach Sean Guthrie already saying he is impressed.

“I’m very happy with their progress right now, the way they are pushing is very impressive. They are physically fit, mentally strong and technically gifted.

“Our main focus is to ensure that they are learning. We are aiming to develop them,” the youthful coach revealed.

“They have beeen working very hard for the past two weeks and showed us the potential and the quality they have.

“There is room for improvement regarding areas they are not yet good at, they are important in our academy, I’m sure they are very happy also.”

City Football Academy was established in 2019 by Agrippa Guti.

The fast-growing football academy has so far toured Zambia and Mozambique in 2019 and 2022 respectively.
