Veteran midfielder Innocent Mucheneka has retraced his steps to his former club, Chicken Inn, after being released by FC Platinum.

Mucheneka was spotted at a Chicken Inn training session Tuesday and indications are that Chicken Inn coach Joey Antipas, who previously worked with him at the same club, is keen on a reunion.
This could mark Mucheneka’s second stint with the Gamecoks following his departure in 2020 to join Caps United.
His move to the Green Machine came after his contract with Chicken Inn had expired.
However, the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic halting all sporting activities shortly after, prevented him from making a single appearance for Caps.
As a result, he subsequently moved to FC Platinum in 2021.
