Former Warriors forward Khama Billiat, who is without a club, is being linked with an unnamed Saudi Arabian top flight league club amid interest from DStv Premiership side Cape Town City.

This was revealed by Cape Town City owner John Comitis.
“He (Billiat) had an opportunity to sign in Saudi Arabia, which obviously would be very beautiful. If that doesn’t go through, then as Cape Town City, we have an opportunity (to sign him), and that’s it,” Comitis told KickOff magazine.
Billiat is currently unattached after leaving Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs in June following the expiry of his contract despite that Amakhosi were reportedly interested in extending his stay by another year.
Since leaving Chiefs, the 32-year-old midfielder is reportedly training on his own while searching for new suitors.
Cape Town City who are favourites to land the signature of the former Mamelodi Sundowns star, are set to finalise on the way forward to rope in Billiat who is highly rated by Comitis.
“At this stage nothing has materialised. I’m waiting to have a meeting with the technical team on Friday.
“On Friday, we will then see what is the possibilities. At the moment, we have not discussed anything,” Comitis added.
“Listen, in Khama Billiat, you’ve got a natural goal scorer, he is a good link player, he can get players together, and he’s got an eye for goal.
“I brought him through from Zimbabwe, when he was a young boy, so I know him very well, clearly.”
Despite reports indicating he has attracted interest from an unknown Saudi Arabian club as well as Cape Town City, the 2016 Soccer Star of the Year is keeping a low profile.
As of now, Billiat has not publicly opened up on his next move.
