HIGHLANDERS coach Baltemar Brito has said he will have to make do with Bosso’s junior players who were promoted from its development side as the Bulawayo giants are not keen on spending big on the market.

Brito’s comment comes at a time the club’s main rivals have spent big during the off season.

“Highlanders do not buy too many players they promote from Bosso 90,” said Brito on the sidelines of a CAF A refresher course in Harare.

“The players now have to improve heading into this season.

“When the season starts my job will be to analyse my opponent and also keep an eye on future stars at the club,” he added.

Brito is expected to deliver the championship this season having been given a year to assemble a squad that will challenge FC Platinum.

He has however already lost Vice Captain Nqobizitha Masuku and workaholic Adrian Silla.
