Recently appointed Dynamos assistant coach Genesis ‘Kaka’ Mangombe has shared his first ever ‘official’ images in Dembare blue and white.

Kaka shared the image on his Whatsapp status.

Mangombe quit Yadah Stars at the end of the 2021/22 season to join the country’s most successful club, but has not been officially ‘unveiled’.

“Dynamos is the biggest club in Zimbabwe [•••] and one’s CV can only be strengthened by mentioning they have once coached at Dynamos,” Mangombe explained his decision to The Herald.

He will be working with another recent appointment, head coach Herbert Maruwa who replaced Tonderai Ndiraya.

Maruwa spent the tail end of last season at Harare City, having been let go by Black Rhinos in July 2022.

Also in the new look technical team is Dynamos’ former captain and assistant coach, Murape Murape, who rejoined the club after spending two years at Real Betis Zimbabwe Academy.

Murape’s first stint as a Dynamos assistant coach started in spectacular fashion when he and Lloyd Chigowe saved Dynamos from relegation in 2018, only to be fired three games in the 2019 season for poor results.

Dynamos also recruited Britto Gwere to replace Gift ‘Umbro’ Muzadzi while Deamond Mhene has been roped in as a video analyst
