Warriors goalkeeper Talbert Shumba has joined Triangle United on a short-term deal set to expire in December.

Shumba joins the Sugar Boys as a free agent following his release by South Africa’s second tier outfit Casric Stars upon expiry of his contract in June.
The 33-year-old goalkeeper will compete for a first spot with 22-year-old Matripples Muleya.
The Triangle move comes two months after Shumba confirmed reports that suggested Marumo Gallants as well as Black Leopards were interested in him.
The former Chapungu United and Nkana FC goalkeeper confirmed the interest to South African online publication FARPost.
Said Shumba in July: “Several clubs including Marumo Gallants have made inquiries but so far, there is nothing conclusive at the moment. Of course, there is one club that appears more.”
Shumba has been playing in the Motsepe Foundation League since August 2021 when he left Zambian top flight side Nkana FC for Free State Stars.
He was part of the Warriors team that played at the Africa Cup of Nations finals in Cameroon in January 2022.
